Bridals at Indian Springs, GA – Macon Wedding Photographer

It was so much fun to photograph Michelle at Indian Springs state park. We went to different locations there and she photographs beautiful. I have been taking pictures of Michelle since she was in the third grade at Monroe Academy. Don’t do the math

I wish I could show you more of these but we can’t take a chance on the groom seeing them but here is one for now. Michele is getting married in July and we are looking forward to her wedding. The reason we went to Indian Springs park was her mother had her bridal portraits made there also. It is a great place to shoot and we had fun and then a nice lunch at Finchers BBQ great way to start the week off with.

Brickyard Wedding- Macon Wedding Photographer

We are now limiting how many weddings we photograph each year but I am so glad that we got to photograph Lorraine and Brandon’s big day at the Brickyard located in Macon.

We started at the bride’s house in Forsyth, GA. We were able to get some great photos there and then at the hotel with Brandon and the guys.

Lorraine and Brandon had a special moment where they saw each other to get the nerves down some.

We then had the chance to travel around the golf course some to take a few photos and that was fun!

The ceremony was near sundown and the sunset was super.

Jones/Varnum Wedding – Macon Wedding Photographer

A couple of years back I was at the rehearsal for the Jones/Varnum wedding at Forrest Hill United Methodist Church here in Macon. For superstitious reasons, the bride did not want to walk down the aisle with her Dad before the wedding. All night they had one of the bridesmaids walk with Dad, well on the last “run” the bridesmaids was nowhere to be found and it was time to open the doors. Behind the doors was Dad, bride, coordinator, videographer, and of course me. After the bride told her Dad “NO” twice I just walked up, took the flowers from her and gave Dad my arm and we opened the doors to walk down the aisle. Everyone started cracking up laughing but it was a fun walk. Some of the family members took pictures and I finally got a copy to put up on the blog.

Brandi and Jeff Todd’s Wedding in Darien, Georgia

Chris and I have returned from our destination wedding in Darien, GA to where we photographed Brandi and Jeff’s wedding.

We went to the rehearsal dinner Friday night at Skippers Fish Camp which has awesome food. Before the wedding on Saturday, Brandi’s dad took us on a tour of Brandi’s hair and nail salon called BAM’s on the Bluff.

What a neat salon! She has painted it in bright colors and has everything you need to be pampered. “Get Glammed at Bam’s!” Jeff owns and operates Todd’s Interstate Truck & Auto Repair in Darien, GA.

The wedding was at the First Baptist Church in downtown Darien. The reception followed immediately in the reception hall. Family and friends did an outstanding job decorating the church and the reception. As you can see in the pictures, Brandi was gorgeous and Jeff was very handsome. They had a special moment prior to the formal pictures. We were only able to take a few images outside since the wind was blowing around 35 mph, but at least it was not raining. It was just a fun time all day long.

Moncrief & Young Wedding- Macon Wedding Photographer

What a great wedding in Fort Valley! The weather stayed super and it was not cold or wet. Here are just a few images from the wedding. We have posted more images here.

The wedding was at Pineola Farms in Fort Valley. The caterer was Sheila Sanders of Catering Your Style. Calista Anne Waddy from Macon Harpist provided the music for the ceremony.

Toni and Jason’s Wedding

Toni and Jason were married at Panama City Beach, FL on June 12, 2009. Chris and I went down Friday to join everyone and it was a blast. There was a little rain but just before the ceremony the skies miraculously cleared. Whew!

The wedding coordinator, Kimberly Bartoli, was a lot of help and kept us informed of everything.

Bennett & Carter Wedding

This past Saturday, Lindsey and Daron were married at Riverside United Methodist Church here in Macon. What a great couple to shoot in a beautiful setting. The reception was held at the Howard Community Center where Rock D Productions was ready for their arrival. Flowers were artfully arranged by The Flower Shop and the event was catered by Helen Hall.

Lindsey looked great and everyone had a great time. Check back within the next 3 weeks for more images.
